ABOUT:
Fresh to Nashville in 2016 by way of New York City, Jeff Carl’s been at work placing his musical roots in town. The 27 year old songwriter, known for his dynamic vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and hooky melodies, spent last year recording and releasing his sophomore EP, Survive, touring the East Coast, performing festivals, and playing the local scene. He also made it onto the radar of Nashville’s well known independent radio station, Lightning 100, having received the honor of “Artist of the Week” in September 2016, two-time “DJ Pick of the Week” before then, and consistent rotational spins since. In 2017, Jeff's been busy with performances at Sundance Film Festival, SXSW as part of The Nashville House, a showcase highlighting up-and-coming Nashville acts, and locally around town. He's also been diving deeper into the world of cowrites, honing his songwriting skills for projects beyond his own, though he is currently back in the studio working on his first full-length album, evolving a new kind of pop-crossover sound for his next project.
